Artist Residency in Uganda, 2018
During my artist residency in Uganda in 2018, I was deeply inspired by the vibrant red dirt roads, the lush nature, and the extraordinary colors of the landscape.
The warm, earthy tones of the soil, the intense greens of the vegetation, and the beautiful contrasts between them left a lasting impression on me.
The colors, light, and atmosphere became an important source of inspiration for my paintings. Through my work, I wanted to capture not only the visual beauty of Uganda, but also the feelings and memories of being present in this remarkable landscape.
