2025 - The Color of Northern Stillness - Lofoten

Far north of the Arctic Circle, in Lofoten, I work surrounded by a landscape where silence has weight and light has its own language.
Mountains rise directly from the sea, and the air carries a clarity that shapes how I paint.
The stillness here is not empty — it vibrates. It settles into the body, sharpens the senses, and becomes part of the process.
The colors I choose, the gestures I make, and the layers I build are shaped by this quiet intensity.
These works reflect slow rhythms, deep presence, and sudden bursts of color that exist only in this environment.
They are conversations with light, with nature, and with the inner landscapes that emerge when everything else becomes quiet.
