Through my work, I explore the fragile relationship between humans and nature.

I paint on raw cotton canvas, building layers of color and movement that reflect both beauty and vulnerability.

My work is deeply connected to the natural world — and to what is quietly disappearing.

The loss of insects is one of the most urgent environmental challenges of our time.

These small, essential beings — so easy to overlook — are fundamental to life as we know it.

This body of work carries a silent awareness.

What are we really cultivating?

The World is My Garden is a collection of colorful abstract paintings on raw cotton canvas by Norwegian artist Kristin Romberg.
