Kristin Romberg

In October 2022, I spent a full month as an artist-in-residence at La Napoule Art Foundation in the South of France.

Together with ten artists from around the world, I lived and worked at the historic Château de La Napoule.

During the residency, I developed a new body of work, responding to the place, its architecture, light, landscape and surroundings. The month culminated in an installation where the paintings became part of the extraordinary spaces of the château.

A month dedicated entirely to making, experimenting, exchanging ideas and living alongside other artists.
