Belong 2021
In my exhibition BELONG in 2021, I explored new ways of presenting my paintings by allowing them to hang freely in the exhibition space, without traditional frames or stretchers. By releasing the canvases from the wall, the paintings became more than two-dimensional surfaces. They moved into the room, creating a dialogue between color, space, and the viewer. The freedom of the hanging canvases reflected the essence of BELONG – an exploration of connection, vulnerability, and our relationship with the world around us. I wanted the paintings to exist freely, inviting the viewer to move around them and experience the work from different perspectives.
